The Cerro Sur is utterly fascinating in this vintage. Composed of 69% Cabernet Franc and 31% Cabernet Sauvignon which was sourced from 40-year-old deep rooted vines located high in the mountains east of Coombsville. This instantly begins to impress as it bursts open with gorgeous aromatics of ripe black cherries and blackberries which are joined by tobacco, charcoal, minerals, graphite, licorice and fresh spring flowers. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous medium body that is impeccably structured with velvety, polished tannins that result in a wonderful finessed mouthfeel. This goes on to impress with its outstanding balance of beautifully pure rip fruit and gorgeous acidity, which give the wine incredible freshness and energy. It displays remarkable overall precision and focus leading up to the mouth-watering finish. This is an exceptional wine from Andy Erickson that is absolutely beautiful today but should also have a brilliant future ahead.Favia Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville 2018

The Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a slightly broader, more expansive wine with textbook notes of crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, Asian spices, loamy soil, camphor, and chocolate. Offering full-bodied richness, a beautiful weightlessness on the palate, and building tannins, this is another gorgeous, seamless, singular wine from this estate that will benefit from short-term cellaring and evolve for 20-25 years or more.Favia Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

The 2019 offering of this noble variety is deeply colored, with a black-purple hue and remarkable opacity. The aromas are highly perfumed, with an intense, dark profile. The typical black fruits are there but layered under a blanket of umami notes—morels, roasted meat, exotic wood and dark chocolate. The weight is massive, but with amazing balance and grace. The wine has a velvety texture, with cocoa powder tannins and an expansive, lengthy finish. Even with such polish, the wine is well structured and dense, and will certainly age for many years to come.Mayacamas Vineyards The Terraces Chardonnay 2013

Red raspberry tart, bing cherry, black olive, thyme make for a substantially complex palate. The firm, structured tannins make for a classic profile, and suggest a particularly ageable wine.- Producer:

Delicate, detailed aromas of pear skin, honeysuckle, wet slate and vanilla bean unfold in the glass and deepen with air. On the palate, the wine is at once rich and very focused – dominated at first by mouthwatering acidity and stony minerality, then broadening into generous flavors of lemon curd and green pistachio.Retro Howell Mountain Petit Sirah 2010
